LOCATION
Dalton is a city located in northwest Georgia, in Whitfield County and according to the 2020 census, Dalton’s population was approximately 34,000 inhabitants.
Known as the “Carpet Capital of the World” due to its significant carpet and textile manufacturing industry. Economy is centered around the carpet industry but also includes other important sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, education, and retail.

Dalton has a humid subtropical climate, with hot and humid summers and mild to cold winters.

The city has several public and private schools, as well as Dalton State College, a state university offering a variety of academic programs.
